Please be aware that your personal gate entry code is for your use only!
Once again, people in the area who were not property owners had the code to our gate. People were helping themselves to our boat ramp, swimming pool, etc. Lets not allow our gate codes to become common knowlege. Please do not provide your personal code to delivery men, repairmen, home builders, or service people (many have their own codes). You can provide regular service personnel with the alternate gate code that was provided to you. The alternate code is restricted to the hours of 6:30 am to 8:00 pm.
Visitors and one-time service personnel should call you from the gate (using the gate phone system) and you will be able to open the gate by pressing '9' on your home phone.
Home builders who are building homes in Legacy Bay will be provided their own unique code to use for themselves and their subcontractors. This code must be requested by the property owner who then provides it to the builder with instructions to guard the code from unauthorized use. Builder's codes are valid between the hours of 6:30am and 8:00pm, Monday - Saturday.
If you are planning to begin construction on a home in Legacy Bay, please contact the Architectual Committee for a builder's gate code. Please do not provide the owners code to your builder!
Individuals who make regular deliveries to Legacy Bay (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Newspaper, Trash Collectors, Cable, Propane, etc.) have also been given a different code. These codes also have restricted hours. The police and fire department have also been given a code; however, our gate system contains a feature that will open the gate automatically for an approaching emergency vehicle that has it's siren on. The Hawkins county Sheriff's department is also listed in the gate directory so that it is possible for you to call the Sheriff's department from the gate directory.
If you are selling your lot or home with a realtor, please request a special Realtor's Code for your realtor. You will be responsible for the proper use of this code. Realtor's codes are valid between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
The "homeowner's gate code" is no longer the password for the clubhouse door or the website. The password-protected pages on this website are accessible with the 4-digit password that was sent to you with your gate code.
